Quilting project


Operation Kid Comfort is designed for children from military families who have a parent deployed for more than three months.  Children under the age of six are given a quilt, whereas those over six years old receive quilted pillows.

Armed Services YMCA volunteers and staff receive photos from the recipient's family, which are then assembled into the quilt or pillow. Additionally, a quilted square on each product displays the logo of the deployed parent's branch of service, as well as an additional square for the Operation Kid Comfort logo and the child's name.

To apply for a quilt, please download and fill out the application located here.  Parents are asked to send the application to the ASYMCA via email at pearlharbor@asymcahi.org .  For questions or more information contact Pearl Harbor branch by
