Holiday Food Baskets - Offered at Thanksgiving and Christmas, these baskets are filled with many of the ingredients needed to prepare a holiday meal. In addition to the food, recipients also get a gift certificate from a commissary or local grocery store.
Qualifications are as follows:
- E5 and below
- families who have children
- or single military personnel with children
Referrals are made on behalf of these families by their commands.
Last year, over 1,000 military family members benefited from Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets. Cash and in-kind donations are welcomed and help to suport this program.
Toys- At Christmas time, the ASYMCA also provides toys for children whose families receive food baskets. Your generous donation of a toy or cash can help assist us in continuing this tradition.
