Operation Kid Comfort program is a program in which we sew quilts/pillows for children whose parent(s) are deployed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the tremendous demand for quilts, and the need for our volunteer quilters to catch up, Operation Kid Comfort requests for quilts and pillows will be suspended from October 1st through December 31st. All current requests and requests submitted prior to September 30th will be completed. We are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform. This suspension of OKC requests by no means diminishes the appreciation we have for our military. Simply put, our volunteer quilters are being stretched a bit thin. We will do our best to fulfill all requests received after January 1, 2012. Thank you very much for understanding!
