at a Glance
The Honolulu Armed Services YMCA offers more than 30 free or low-cost programs on or near Oahu military installations. Some of the progams offered are:
food for families

The Armed Services YMCA offers free food assistance for families who are experiencing financial difficulties. From time to time, everyone needs a little help; military families are no exception.
Food for Families is an emergency food locker which consists of the following:
- basic food products, such as canned goods
- frozen foods
- diapers (at Wheeler and AMR branches)
- some laundry and cleaning supplies
Last year, nearly 800 family members 'shopped' at the ASYMCA Food Lockers.
If you or someone close to you is in need of short-term assistance or would like to donate items, please contact the nearest Armed Services YMCA to arrange a time to pick-up food.
