The ASYMCA of Honolulu is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) agency. Donations to the ASYMCA of Honolulu are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Supporting Armed Services YMCA programs is an excellent way to express your appreciation for Hawaii’s men and women in uniform and their families.
Here are some examples of what your one time gift will provide:
- $25 supports Playmorning crafts at one site for one week
- $80 buys snacks for Operation Hero kids for a ten-week session.
- $150 will buy dessert served at the Annual Father Daughter Dance
- $500 will purchase fifty gift certificates, which are included in every Holiday Food Basket.
- $2,000 will keep one Playmorning van on the road for one year.
Thank you for supporting active duty military personnel and family members. Every dollar rasied in Hawaii stays in Hawaii, to support the programs of Armed Services YMCA of Honolulu.

In-Kind Donations:
In-kind donations: these are non-cash donations of goods and services. For example: printing, printer paper,computers,printers,televisions,transportation, toys, furniture and fixtures.
Sponsorships:
Individuals and businesses may choose to underwrite an event, such as our Father-Daughter Dance, Charity Walk or Operation Kid Comfort (quilts).
Volunteer:
We welcome assistance within outreach, programming, administration and community events. We also provide internship opportunities. Please visit our volunteer page for more details.
PCS'ing?? Don't throw away your excess food! The Armed Services YMCA gladly accepts your unopened, non-perishable food for our emergency food locker. We also accept unopened personal hygiene products, opened cleaning products, and used clothing.
